condemns London attack, offers helpThe State Department on Monday condemned the attack in London Sunday night in which a man died and at least 10 people were injured when a van struck pedestrians outside a mosque.

The statement by the State Department concluded by saying that the United States will work with the U.K. to “counter the plague of terrorism” and that it stood in solidarity with the country.

“We extend our sympathies to the families and community of the victims and our hopes for the quick recovery of those wounded,” the statement read.
