| Getty Biden blasts GOP health care bill in Washington Post op-edAmid uncertainty over the future of the Affordable Care Act, former Vice President Joe Biden on Monday slammed the GOP’s efforts to repeal the landmark health care law in a Washington Post op-ed.
Nearly a dozen senators are still undecided on whether they support the revised GOP health care bill, which was unveiled on Thursday.
Story Continued Below“But my longtime Senate colleague is, I believe, missing the point” Biden wrote.
Biden chided his former Senate colleagues despite Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s attempt to appease undecided senators with an additional $45 billion put into the GOP’s revised health care bill to combat the opioid epidemic.
“The ACA isn’t perfect, but the choices we made when designing the law flowed from a commitment to provide the best possible care to the most people,” Biden wrote.
