Jets vs. Buccaneers: Was this a good real game?

I watched NFL game titles from the first kickoff before clock hit zero about Sunday Night Soccer. But I didn’t visit a solitary highlight from Jets vs. Buccaneers. I’m not at all convinced this game even happened.

This happens every week. There’s always one video game that goes completely unnoticed, whether it’s because it’s between two terrible teams or it’s only a boring game. Maybe that team experienced a bye this week, I’ll think. After that I’ll see the rating and understand that yes, there is a game. I simply totally missed it.

I’m not a conspiracy theorist. I’m not really Kyrie Irving out here insisting that the community is probably toned. But isn’t it only a tiny bit plausible that the group might fake a game between your Jets and Bucs? Because let’s be genuine: Who even wants to watch that?

This game couldn’t have happened

Wait, let me research the rating. The Bucs won 15-10? That doesn’t even sound like a real score. Do the Bucs, a staff that’s on their third kicker since the preseason began, simply score five discipline goals? What’s even happening here?

Wait, zero, maybe this is a real game

Oh, seemingly the Bucs obtained two touchdowns with one PAT and a two-point transformation. That math makes sense. Maybe this was a real game.

Nah, it can’t be

You’d think an epic matchup around Ryan Fitzpatrick and Josh McCown could have been the talk of this NFL Sunday. It had been a revenge video game for both players, after all. Fitzpatrick was the Jets’ starter last year, when he wasn’t benched, anyhow. And McCown performed for the Bucs in 2014.

But I didn’t hear a peep about any of it.

Not even about the actual fact that Fitzpatrick went to Harvard. Do you realize Fitzpatrick went to Harvard? If you don’t, you probably haven’t watched any of his game titles. It comes up every time.

So almost all signs are pointing to this video game being fake. Let’s see easily can find any highlights out of this one.

Wait. Yep, this video game definitely happened

McCown and Fitzpatrick threw picks on back-to-back drives? All right, that’s entirely believable. The Jets seriously did enjoy the Bucs on Sunday. Congratulations, Buccaneers, on this very actual win in a game that nobody watched.
