From crossing the Pacific Ocean in a hot air balloon to environment various world information, it’s hard never to associate adventure with billionaire entrepreneur Richard Branson.
Branson’s adventurous spirit, however, wasn’t simply a quality he picked up in adulthood, but goes back to his upbringing.
“My mum is an extremely adventurous person. She quite definitely felt that she required us to stand on our own two feet and not to get ‘mollycoddled,’ as she’d contact it,” the founder of Virgin Group told CNBC’s “The Brave Types.”
“And there was the moment when I was several that we were going to Granny’s residence in Devon,” Branson recalled. “About three kilometers before we received there – I believe I must have been misbehaving or something in the back of it – she merely pushed me out from the car and stated, ‘Best suited, you make your own way there.'”
Not merely is Eve Branson the billionaire entrepreneur’s mom, she actually is also an author and founder of the Eve Branson Foundation, a nonprofit organization that gives training and income-producing projects to native Moroccan communities.
According to Eve’s base website, despite the fact that her philanthropic adventure started out when Richard attemptedto fly from Morocco to France in a hot air balloon during the 1990s, she always looked for adventure from a age, including enlisting in the Women’s Royal Naval Services (WRENS) to supply help during Globe War II.
