Atlanta Anchor Sharon Reed Was first Called The N-Word By A Viewer On Facebook And She Addressed Their Racism In A Powerful Segment

“I would say to Kathy, a couple of things. No. 1: You mischaracterize what I said. I didn’t claim that white persons couldn’t talk about competition. Quite the contrary. We think that competition is an authentic discussion to have,” Reed said. “It’s one we’re having tonight because it’s one which a lot of you are discussing at home. And it’s one which has plainly entered the Atlanta mayor’s race.”

Reed then finished her address with a old classic web page out of Michelle Obama’s “when they go low, we go high” speech.
