Trump Jr. says he communicated with Expectation Hicks about Trump Tower response

(CNN) Donald Trump Jr. told Home investigators that did not communicate directly along with his daddy when met with news reports about his June 2016 Trump Tower conference, according to multiple resources with understanding of his testimony.

Instead, Trump Jr. explained he was talking with White House aide Trust Hicks about how exactly to react to the studies. He explained President Donald Trump, based on the resources, was debating between an extended and a shorter statement while President Trump and Hicks had been aboard Atmosphere Force One.

Hicks was aboard Atmosphere Force One and was first speaking with Trump as the statement was being crafted.

Separately, sources said, Trump Jr. said he cannot recall some key details about the White Home response.

Trump Jr.’s extremely anticipated testimony on Tuesday comes as he provides faced growing queries on Capitol Hill about the June 2016 conference at Trump Tower where he achieved with Russian operatives after becoming promised dirt on Democratic presidential applicant Hillary Clinton.
