The North Carolina man accused of dumping the dead body of his girlfriend’s three-year-good old daughter in a creek is now thought to have sexually abused the kid before her death, according to court papers.
Earl Kimrey, 32, was first arrested on Dec. 1 and billed with concealing of death, obstruction of justice, second-degree burglary, felony larceny and possession of stolen home regarding the the death of Mariah Woods, whose body system was found on Dec. 2, reported ABC 11.
Upon further investigation, Kimrey is now accused of sexually abusing the toddler and her two brothers, according to court papers cited by the Jacksonville Daily News.
Woods’ body was found in a muddy creek about 25 miles away from her home found in Jacksonville over a week after she was reported lacking on Nov. 27, leaving an Amber Alert.
Kimrey, who was coping with Woods’ mom, Kristy Woods, has been held on $1 million bond and has not been charged with the toddler’s murder.
In documents supplied by the children’s biological father, Alex Woods, Kirsty allegedly knew Kimrey was sexually abusing Mariah.
Kimrey can be accused of beating Mariah’s brothers with a good belt, leaving one boy with a good bloody nose, according to the documents.
Although investigators have not disclosed how Mariah died, Kimrey’s arrest warrant reported he taken away Mariah Woods’ human body from the scene of her death and “secretly removed the dead child’s human body.”
