Serena Williams, the world’s greatest athlete, is figuring out motherhood just like any non-superstar: by asking other moms what’s excellent. It would appear that regardless of your degree of privilege, course or amount of zeros in your bank account, parenthood truly is the great unknown. And so, when puzzled about one aspect in particular, Serena took to Twitter to crowdsource some views.
How long did you breastfeed? Is it weird that I get psychological when I even consider about when it’s time to stop? pic.twitter.com/YOz4oeIajH – Serena Williams (@serenawilliams) December 6, 2017
Yesterday she shared a sweet picture of her beautiful baby Alexis Olympia and wrote, “Fellow moms: How long did you breastfeed? Is it weird that I get psychological when I even consider about when it’s time to stop?” While views may run the gamut, one thing’s for certain: breastfeeding truly is a beautiful bond between mother and baby that may for certain drum up a lot of emotions. There is no one-size-fits-all approach with regards to a “normal” length of time to breastfeed one’s baby. Some moms may wanna slash it off ASAP to allow them to resume their pre-preggo life-style, including consuming liquor, while others may breastfeed before previous drop (sorry for the visible) – in the end, breastfeeding following birth provides been cited among the healthiest & most sustainable methods to lose baby weight.
can someone just be genuine with me and tell me whether it’s normal to increase, faster with second baby? because I am having big, quickly, and everyone’s go-to is usually “it’s that second baby!” but they’re lying. I understand it. I can handle the reality just tell me. it isn’t normal is it – christine teigen (@chrissyteigen) November 26, 2017
Serena’s not the only celeb mama asking the Twitterverse for answers. Only the other day, Chrissy Teigen took to her favorite platform to consult if it was normal for her to put up excess fat quicker while pregnant the second time, as proven above. Crowdsourcing mom information? Stars are just like us! Look at this band of breastfeeding mothers sprinkling #BlackMomMagic in this viral photoshoot.
